In Class Writing, September 6th

Knowing two or more languages is very beneficial in more than way. Mia Nacamulli talks about how bilingualism helps the human brain have more activity and how it decreases the likelihood of developing diseases like Alzheimer's and dementia. Amy Tan and Richard Rodriguez both emphasize that learning their second language helped them become more fluent in their thoughts and the way communicate with people. Amy also discusses that knowing both English and Chinese helped her assist her mom in public situations where her mother wasn't able to articulate herself clearly.
